Ellie Dickins Shoes offers high quality footwear at affordable prices. All of our footwear is inspected before it's packaged and posted. In the unlikely event that you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return it, unworn and within 30 working days, for a full refund.


We offer Free standard UK delivery for all footwear, accessories and other orders totalling more than £50. This means you'll only need to pay delivery on any items you’re returning.

For Next Day Delivery there is charge of £12 for the first pair of shoes or short boots, with extra pairs costing £5 each when ordered at the same time, and £15 for each pair of long boots.

We always do our best to ensure orders go out as quickly as possible.

If an order is particularly urgent, please call us to bring it to our attention, and we'll do everything within our power to ensure it arrives on time.

We use Sagepay, approved by all the major UK acquiring banks, to securely take payment for your order. This means that even though you key in your card details, all that is seen by Wider Fit Shoes Ltd are the last four digits of your card number.

Our payment providers employ the most sophisticated security measures to protect your personal details. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet.

If you prefer, you can pay using your Paypal account. This is offered as an option during checkout.


If you’d like to speak to a member of the team before completing your purchase, perhaps to check the fit or colour of an item, we’d be happy to answer any questions you may have, either by phone on 01488 686480 or email we’ll be very happy to help (phone is quickest, but we do respond to emails as quickly as we can).

We’re also happy to take orders over the phone, if you prefer to shop this way. If the shop is busy and one of the team can’t get to the phone, please just leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.


While it’s lovely to receive a big box in the post, we’re aware it’s not very environmentally friendly. The bigger the box, the more space it takes up and the fewer items that can be transported in a vehicle.

To reduce the size of our packages, we remove footwear from the outer boxes and send them carefully wrapped in tissue paper within a protective outer layer, to reach you in perfect condition.  


Should you wish to exchange or return an item, please ensure it's returned unworn and in the original condition, within 30 working days of receipt, to receive a full refund.

Please try on footwear on a carpeted surface to prevent scuffing or marking of the sole. We are unable to replace shoes or refund money if items show signs of having been worn.

When wrapping footwear for return, please place the soles facing outwards to protect the uppers from marking or damage. If possible, please use the same outer wrapping, to further reduce waste, or your own equally secure and protective packaging.

To guarantee safe return, we recommend you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, which is insured and traceable. Please retain proof of posting. Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will not be liable for any items lost in transit.


If you’d like to exchange an item, please notify us before you return the goods so that we can ensure the alternative product is available in your size/colour and we can guarantee a speedy turn around.  


We make every effort to ensure that photographs and descriptions are accurate on our website and in our catalogues. Our photographs are taken in a professional photography studio, however colour representation may vary depending on the device being used to view the product, and slight variances during the photographic and reproduction process.


Your statutory rights are not affected when returning purchased goods.

Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will only grant an exchange or refund if footwear is returned unworn and in its original condition. In order to ensure this is the case, footwear must be tried on carpeted surfaces only. Should footwear appear scratched, marked, soiled, worn or damaged, Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will not guarantee the exchange or refund request.
