Like many of our customers, Ellie Dickins is far from average.
At just 13 years old, Ellie stood 6’2” tall in size 11 shoes, when she could find them!
Frustrated at discovering shoes she loved, only to be told they didn't come in her size, Ellie decided to do something about it.
In 1999, Ellie opened Ellie Dickins Shoes in Hungerford. Her problem had become her passion.
Today if you have larger than average, smaller than average, narrower, wider or just plain average feet, Ellie Dickins Shoes has something for you, in a stylish design, that will look and feel wonderful on.
In addition, if you have bunions, corns, hammer toes, plantar fasciitis or 'hobbity' feet, as one of our customers calls hers, then we also have something for you.
We specialise in making your feet happy.
Ellie sources her shoes from the best European manufacturers, many are designed in Italy and made with the softest leather and highest quality materials. Ellie is also a Fellow of the Society of Shoe Fitters.
Pop into the shop for a warm welcome from Ellie and her team, the chance to have your feet accurately measured by a qualified shoe fitter, and receive practical advice on the best styles to suit your particular needs.
