Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited offers high quality footwear at affordable prices. All our footwear is inspected before it is packaged and sent to our customers. In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the footwear unworn within 7 working days. Please ensure that you keep the footwear in its original packaging (shoe stuffing intact). We recommend that you return the shoes in the packaging provided. You can re-use the courier bag by turning it inside out, and using a label, affix it to the black side of the bag, seal with tape and return to the address below:

To guarantee safe return, please ensure the shoes are returned via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to make sure they are insured and traceable.. Do obtain proof of posting. Please note that the cost of returning goods to Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited is paid by you. Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will not be liable for any items lost in transit.
Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited reserves the right to deduct the cost of repackaging for footwear not returned in its original packaging.
REQUESTING AN ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT
If you return an item to us and request an alternative product or an exchange, please advise before you return the goods sent to you so that we can ensure that the product is available in your size and we can guarantee a speedy turn around time You would have to pay for any further postage costs
STATUTORY RIGHTS AND FAULTY GOODS
Your statutory rights are not affected when returning purchased goods. Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will only grant an exchange or refund, if footwear is returned in its original condition. In order to ensure this is the case, footwear must be tried on carpeted surfaces only. Should the footwear appear scratched, marked, soiled, worn or damaged, Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited will not guarantee the exchange or refund request.
FAULTY GOODS
The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) states, in respect of 'faulty' unworn goods that consumers are entitled to a reasonable time to reject unsatisfactory goods and demand an exchange or full refund.
Our products are manufactured to very high standards and therefore bear full manufacturer’s warranty. Customers will not be liable for basic defects arising in workmanship and/or failure in use. Repairs, exchange and full refunds will be given should the product have manufacturing defects or failure in use. We do not offer any guarantees against standard wear & tear and where this is the case (for seeking an exchange or refund), Ellie Dickins Shoes Limited reserves the right to seek advice from either the manufacturer or an independent body.
In so doing, if the returned product has no manufacturing defects or failure in use, but is affected only by standard wear and tear, we would not reimburse the cost of postage to the customer.
To minimise wear and tear of any footwear, we suggest that you take good care of it and follow the tips below:
- Re-heel heels and replace outer soles just before they begin to wear out.
- Do not wear certain styles of footwear (i.e. suede, party sandals, shoes made with delicate leather) in unfavourable weather conditions.
- Take care when wearing whilst cooking to avoid fat spills and stains. With leather and suede being natural products, i.e. animal hide, they will absorb fats and oils just the same as human skin.
- Take adequate time and care when putting on or taking off footwear.
